Movie Review for "Predetors"

predators

Over all I expected so much more. In my opinion "Aliens Vs Predator" was SO much better. However, the action and fighting did live up to the predator legacy. Oh, and the story line, WHERE DID IT GO?! There were some unexpected events that made my eyes widen. As for the main character, this would have not been my first choice. Good, yes. But NO. His voice does not match him and even though he has some muscles, he looks puny. Its like walking up to your classroom "nerd", ripping off his glasses, throwing him in the movies, and telling him to talk in a deeper voice. Doesn't work! He in no way made me feel like he was a bad a$$. The ending though, yes, love it! Definitely a renter for the "Predator" fan, but also, a good movie for the average "movie buff".

Robert Rodriguez presents Predators, a bold new chapter in the Predator universe. Adrien Brody stars as Royce, a mercenary who reluctantly leads a group of elite warriors mysteriously brought together on a jungle planet. But when these cold-blooded human “predators” find themselves in all-out war against a new breed of alien Predators, it’s the ultimate showdown between hunter and prey.

Treme: The Complete First Season arrives n MarchHBO Home Entertainment is bringing Treme: The Complete First Season to DVD and blu-Ray in spring.
Treme is one of New Orleans oldest neighborhoods, an important center of African-American and Creole culture, especially music. The series highlights the role this unique district has in the Crescent City and tells the interconnected personal stories of the musicians, teachers, restaurateurs, radio deejays and community leaders who endure and thrive in the wake of the disaster. Treme: The Complete First Season begins three months after Katrina, more than half the population of New Orleans is elsewhere and much of the city is wrecked, muddied and caked in mold, while other neighborhoods  in the sliver by the river, as locals call it  remain viable. And for those returning, housing is hard to come by, with many people waiting on insurance checks that may never arrive.
Filled with engaging stories about the vibrant culture and music that makes New Orleans distinctive among American cities, the bonus materials allow fans, as well as new viewers, to immerse themselves in its flavor and rich heritage. Movie Review for "Grown-Ups"

Ok, we rate our movies by the "Shut Up Meter". This is on a 1-5 scale. Rated by how many times you told your kids to be quiet during the movie because you are interested/involved in it. 1 being, "Yeah, I love your drawing. But let me watch this movie." UP TO 5.. "I TOLD YOU FOR THE LAST TIME! IM WATCHING THIS MOVIE! NEXT PEEP AND YOUR GROUNDED!"
Ok, so going into this movie we knew that it was going to give us a few laughs. ADAM SANDLER! Happy Productions is amazing on how they deliver humor!
Not to be a "spoiler" but a few parts MUST be mentioned. In my opinion the trailer does NO JUSTICE for this movie. You snicker at the trailer but fall out while watching the movie!
1. DAVID SPADE > CLOSET > DOG! YEEEEEEEEEEEEAH, you do the math! LMAO GREAT STUFF!
2. Arrow Roulette! I would never have imagined this game. It is NOT what you think it is. Its dangerous. But it does have a couple parts in this movie that just made my eyes water!
3. Full Body Cast... No, not from the roulette, but something even more ridiculous and funny. Again, great stuff!
This movie was over all amazing. For a comedy it definitely kept you guessing what was going to happen next. I mean come on, comedies are predictable. NOT THIS ONE. This movie is DEFINITELY A ----------------------> "SHUT THE HELL UP!" That's right. We gave it a high 5!
So, if your reading this, and you've had a shitty day, and of course have NOT seen this movie... Get off your a@@ and RENT IT!!!!!!!!!

Movie Review - "Kick A$$"

Ok, we rate our movies by the "Shut Up Meter". This is on a 1-5 scale. Rated by how many times you told your kids to be quiet during the movie because you are interested/involved in it. 1 being, "Yeah, I love your drawing. But let me watch this movie." UP TO 5.. "I TOLD YOU FOR THE LAST TIME! IM WATCHING THIS MOVIE! NEXT PEEP AND YOUR GROUNDED!"
First I must say that the previews are a bit misleading. You are expecting a great comedy. There are a few laughable parts, yes. Over all this is more of a drama. Even though it deals with super hero's it is still down to earth. You can relate to the characters, shows family love and loyalty, high school days being the "nerd", and hope.
It has unexpected twists. There are predictable parts, only because it is following in the hero movie format. But there are parts that made me go, "Hmmmm!" It did make room for a 2nd. Which I will definitely watch. There is more main characters than Kick A$$ that helped make this movie a must see.
"Nerds everywhere... UNITE!" :)
Our rating for this movie is----> 5 "Go to your room, NOW!"
